The 2021 holiday season is around the corner and that means the whole country is getting into the holidays’ mood, and Wyoming is not the exception!
Families in the whole state will get to enjoy this magical time of the year with family-friendly events and activities. If you’re near Cody, Cheyenne, Jackson, and other cities around the state, check out this list with amazing holiday events around Wyoming!

Families will enjoy a show filled with dance, music, and drama to celebrate the holiday season!

Audiences are asked to take an unwrapped toy or gift for admission to the event. All items and monetary donations will go directly to Cody Holiday Helpers.

The entire family can enjoy another year of the Cheyenne Christmas Parade!

The parade kicks off at 5:30 PM sharp at 18th Street and Carey Avenue. It marches north on Carey to 24th Street, then turns right to Capitol Avenue.

Don’t miss the 4th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m. at Jason’s Park (behind the Depot). Kids will love watching Santa get a lift from the Riverton Fire Department to the top of the tree. The event will be followed by a Lantern Lighting Festival on Main Street!

Be a witness of the Community Christmas Tree lighting in downtown Casper!

Kick-off the Christmas season with an event for the entire family. After the tree lighting, you will enjoy the Downtown Christmas Parade with the theme ”Christmas at the Movies”.

Families will experience the magic of lights with a dazzling show of over 20,000 lights, more than 20 displays, synchronized to favorite holiday songs.

It may be cold outside, but you can experience the joyous show in the comfort of your car! Make sure you tune your car radio to 99.5 FM for music!

Sheridan Avenue shuts down for downtown events and the whole family is invited!

Don’t miss the lighted Christmas parade at 6 PM! You can also enjoy the Downtown Christmas stroll with food trucks, scavenger hunt, warming burn barrels, and Santa!

The parade’s route will be at 17th Street and Carey Avenue.

It marches north on Carey to 24th Street, then turns right to Capitol Avenue. From Capitol Avenue, the parade continues down to Carey and wraps back up to 17th street, and concludes!

The outdoor ice rink at David Street Station will open for the season on Friday, November 26th, 2021!

Get the whole family ready to skate from November 26 through January 17, 2022.

Families can enjoy a home-cooked Drive-Thru Thanksgiving Day meal on the house at Cody Regional Health’s West Park Hospital campus.

Pick up your hot meal which can include turkey, stuffing, and more tasty options!

Families will get to enjoy fun activities such as pictures with Santa Clause, face painting, cotton candy, cake walk, holiday crafts, cookie decorating, elegantly decorated trees, refreshments, and soup for dinner!

The entire family can behold the spectacular holiday light displays throughout the city while riding the enchanting Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley!

This is a great chance to view the beautifully decorated homes and yards all from the warmth and comfort of the trolley.

From December 14, Santa will be on the Square each evening through December 24.

You will see Town Square lit with thousands of glittering lights and the Stage Stop Building on the southwest corner of the square will be as warm and cozy as Santa’s workshop!

Gather the whole family to ring in the season with this beloved holiday tradition!

The CSO will be joined by All-City Children’s Chorus, En Avant Dance Studio, and the Cheyenne Chamber Singers performing holiday favorites.

The Museum will host this Bailey Tire & Pit Stop Travel Center Children’s Exploration Series program Friday, December 17th at 6:30 PM. Make sure you don’t miss it!

The annual Old Time Christmas Open House at The Pioneer Museum in Lander is an event for the entire family! The event is free and open to the public.

Cheyenne, Wyoming’s Annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop will bring sparkle and celebration to Cheyenne residents and visitors at the Depot Plaza.
