The Teton Raptor Center started in 1991 when two field biologists in Grand Teton National Park took it upon themselves to look after injured birds of prey. Today, it has grown into a rehabilitation facility that tends to over 130 injured birds annually. The center’s mission has also expanded to encompass education and research programs aimed at preserving birds of prey and promoting environmental health. Staffed by conservation biologists, veterinarians, wildlife rehabilitators, and dedicated volunteers, the center operates out of the historic Hardeman Ranch in Wilson, Wyoming. This nonprofit organization is committed to the care, conservation, and study of raptors, offering a vital service to these birds and the environment.
